You’ll need a 2:1 degree and 320 points at A level (or equivalent). We may be flexible on A level points if you have a first class or postgraduate qualification or are a mature applicant. We do not accept applications from candidates with less than a 2:1 degree.

If you are unsuccessful at an interview stage we offer telephone feedback on your performance across the different exercises. Unfortunately, due to high volumes of applications, we are unable to offer feedback at the application form stage.
All applicants will now study their LPC at BPP Law School in Holborn. Only in exceptional circumstances will we allow a student to study at an alternative BPP branch or with a different provider. Further details will be provided at offer stage.
This decision was made following an extensive consultation process. As a firm, we take pride in offering all our employees the training and coaching they need to excel in their roles. We also wanted to extend this approach to the academic stages of training for our future employees. The firm has worked with BPP for many years. BPP was selected following a competitive pitch against other highly regarded providers. We believe this new arrangement will enhance the quality and consistency of the training our prospective trainees receive. It will also, enable us to focus our resources better in developing and monitoring the course and our relationship with the trainees and BPP.
Once you have been offered a training contract, we will sponsor you while you study the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL). We will cover full fees and provide you with a maintenance grant of £7,500 a year in London, Guildford and Oxford, and a £5,000 elsewhere. We will pay your fees and provide you with a maintenance grant of up to £7,500 when you study your LPC at BPP Law School, Holborn. Further details will be provided on offer of a training contract.

All trainees qualifying are asked to apply for roles from a published vacancy list. The majority of our trainees are successful in gaining a position in their preferred practice group.

If you are from another commonwealth country or a jurisdiction that the Law Society recognises for this purpose, you can convert to England & Wales law by undertaking the QLTT. This means that you do not have to undertake a training contract but you do need to get two years' work experience in this jurisdiction. Yes. Once we have made you an offer of a Training Contract, we will support you in your application for a permit.
